This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs all purchases, subscriptions, free trials, one-time ("lifetime") purchases, renewals, and any other paid transaction (each, a "Transaction") made in connection with Privy Journal (the "App"), provided by Dev Pixels Studio LLC ("we," "us," "our"), a company registered in Wyoming, USA. By initiating, authorizing, or completing any Transaction, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, each incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, you must not complete any Transaction.
The short version. All Transactions are final and non-refundable, except (a) where a non-waivable right to a refund is granted to you by applicable law, or (b) where you qualify for our limited, discretionary 24-hour goodwill window described in Section 2. Purchases made through Google Play are additionally subject to Google Play's own policies and are administered by Google, not by us.
The App and all content, features, and functionality unlocked by a Transaction are digital goods and services made available to you immediately upon purchase. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and except as expressly stated in this Policy, all Transactions are final, and all fees are non-refundable, non-creditable, and non-transferable, in whole or in part, once the applicable purchase has been authorized. By purchasing, you request immediate access to the paid features and, where permitted, waive any statutory "cooling-off" or withdrawal period to the fullest extent allowed in your jurisdiction.
As a discretionary accommodation, and without creating any obligation or course of dealing, we may — in our sole discretion — consider a refund of a first-time subscription or one-time purchase if, and only if, all of the following are met:
Requests received after the 24-hour window has elapsed — even by a short margin — are not eligible, and no refund will be issued. Approval of any single request does not entitle you to approval of any future request.
Without limiting Section 1, the following are non-refundable except where a non-waivable legal right applies:
Cancelling stops future renewals; by itself it does not generate a refund for amounts already charged. Because billing is processed by Google Play, manage or cancel your subscription there: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then.
Your Transaction is also governed by Google Play's payment terms and refund policies, and any store-administered refund is issued at Google's discretion and through Google's process. We do not control, and cannot guarantee the outcome of, refund requests submitted to Google. You may contact Google Play directly for store-administered refunds, in addition to or instead of contacting us.
Where offered, a free trial automatically converts into a paid, auto-renewing subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. It is your responsibility to cancel before expiration if you do not wish to be charged. Charges arising from failure to cancel a free trial are non-refundable except as required by law or accommodated under Section 2.
We may change fees on a prospective basis. Where required, we or Google Play will notify you in advance; continued use or non-cancellation after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised fees.
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer right or guarantee that applies to you under mandatory law and that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived. Where such non-waivable rights apply, this Policy applies to the fullest extent permitted alongside them.
Any approved refund is issued to the original payment method or Google Play account used for the Transaction. Processing times are set by the payment processor or Google Play and are outside our control. We do not provide cash refunds, store credit, or refunds to any account other than the one used for the original Transaction.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your Transaction governs it. Material changes are posted on this page with an updated date above.
